A) Power Project Evaluations Course This course is targeted at those who want to gain a better understanding of power generation and the key components which influence the economics of power generation projects. It is also targeted at those who want to understand how to model and evaluate power projects. B) Electric Power Industry 101 This is an introductory course and complements the more advanced Electric Power Industry 201 course. This one day course is designed for people new to the power industry who want a good understanding of how it works. C) Electric Power Industry 201 This course deals with subjects in more detail and builds on the knowledge gained in the Electric Power Industry 101 course. This one day course is designed for who want a more in-depth understanding of how the power industry supplies, transmits and markets power. D) Alberta Wind Development Course The course is meant for people who want a good understanding of how wind projects are developed. This new one day course will be taught by four instructors with over 50 years experience in the power business. E) Carbon Capture Technology and Economics This course is targeted at people interested in knowing how carbon capture technologies work and what they cost to build and operate.
